Red Hawk Golf Club began with 71 bunkers across the course, but through a thoughtful redesign, we’ve reduced that number to 46 to create a more player-friendly and strategically refined experience.

Reshaping work with Caliper Construction is now complete. Holes two and eight are the last to be finished, while the remaining bunkers on the front nine have been shaped and are ready for drainage lines, lining material, and sand. Sodding will begin in early September as temperatures cool, and crusher fines will be used as a base for xeriscaping in out-of-play areas where sod is removed.

As part of this renovation, we’re implementing the Billy Bunker System, a cutting-edge construction method known for superior drainage, durability, and reduced maintenance needs, ensuring consistent playing conditions year-round. These updates will deliver a more enjoyable, visually appealing, and fair course for golfers of all skill levels.
